The stray animal population across Texas is HUGE! Hundreds of animals die alone in cold, dark shelters or roaming the busy streets.
Sad, but it’s the reality we live in. And the community, at large, lives unaware of the severity of the problem, but there are ways EVERYONE can help with the overpopulation problem that are relatively easy and inexpensive!
Spaying and neutering your animals guarantees no new puppies or kittens are born. Which means fewer dogs and cats roaming the streets into their adulthood. And fewer dogs and cats living in shelters or without loving homes.
This is a win-win for everybody. If only everyone would help get the word out. What a difference it could make.
If you’re worried about the cost of such surgery, we’ve got your back. All you have to do is ask.
Animal rescue organizations in the local area have money to grant low-income families to help offset the cost of spaying and neutering.
If you, your friends, family or colleagues have dogs or cats that have not been spayed or neutered, contact R2H at RoamstoHomes@gmail.com
We will do our best to help or guide you in the right direction!
